“La TaurA” was born from the need to show a reality of contingency. Injustice is a very broad and controversial concept. What are the factors that make you realize that you are living in a situation of injustice? When does injustice become obvious? Being a victim or perpetrator. Are there really certain social positions that encourage this role play? According to what history and our personal experiences have shown us, being a woman, within many other conditions, forces you to look at life from the path of impotence, to keep quiet and calm, to be spectators. What happens then if we decide to get our voice out? Everything can be used against us.
“Under ESTE Himmel” seeks to make us reflect on ourselves, who we are? what moves us? what defines us? Where do we belong? These are questions we ask ourselves many times throughout our lives. However, we rarely allow ourselves to recognize that we are “a work in progress” and that what we identify with today is not the same as what we felt yesterday, and that beyond finding answers or not, those answers never cease to be related to my encounter with others, the other also determines me. As human beings, we react to stimuli, and we are not the same person with our friends as we are in the intimacy of our home. That is why the first step in relating to others is to know who we really are. This does not mean that it is something settled and immutable. Our personalities are as alive as we are and move as our bodies do. We learn, we recover, we define and redefine ourselves, that’s life.
